Soap, Food, Food, Soap? What is it...my stomach..

I don't think my brain and or stomach knows the difference of whether these are soaps or foods.. If I make too much or have them on the counter, I actually feel nauseas. Please don't think it's my soap..lol.. it's just me.. I look at the counter full of these yummy soaps and I think my brain is telling my stomach it's food and sugary food at that. So I feel ill sometimes. I hope this doesn't hinder my soap making.. I love it. I don't cook and this is the alternative for me.. It also is an art form as well. I've just listed these on my website.. 2 chunks for $6.00.. Beautiful to look at.. What I do is cut the bars so I have something pretty to look at in my bathroom and I get to use it too. These bars are made with Goat's milk, Shea Butter and Aloe soap bases.. The lather is so rich, thick and creamy. The scents are light. My favorite is still the Caribbean Spear-mist..and it's also my favorite color..

Sooo Excited!!!

I just created my very first batch of soap and I'm so happy that it actually turned out wonderfully. The scent is a light spearmint with Rose Petals added in. My favorite color in Aqua-turquoise.. I'm so pleased with it. The feel is a luxurious creamy lather..very soft soap that lasts. Made with Goat's milk..this soap really leaves your hands feeling moisturized..

My second batch is cooling right now.. can't wait to share that one as well..

New Hobby

I just ordered some great supplies from Bramble Berry.com for soapmaking.. I am excited about this.. I never knew that making soap was so easy. It just takes minutes to create and a few hours to cure..no waiting a month to cure with the Melt and Pour method. Now in addition to my scrubes, balms, salves and salts..I'll have some new creative beautiful soaps. I really like the rustic block look of soaps.. I'm not sure I'll be using molds to make my soaps.. I love all the creative looks of those who make beautiful decorative soaps..I like the loaf style soap that I can cut up with a knife and make rustic looking with different herbs..and gorgeous colors..My favorite color is aqua and then magenta/pink so watch for my cool new hobby of soapmaking..pics..It's my new adventure..

I'm trying also to find more time to write..I'm trying to dedicate each morning to write a little in my blog..so please check back every day for some little blurbs from me.. Soon I will write about soapmaking and other crafts..Please email me if you have any comments...

I've been soooo busy... Not only do I make glass beads and some jewelry and silver findings. I've been painting the Wish Wish Girl series, making Lip Balms and I just listed my first leather journal on my new website..please take a peek just for fun...
